Román Rengifo, 31, suspected his live-in girlfriend of cheating. Do you know what he did? He beat her, tied her with cords, locked her in a closet, choked her, and repeatedly dunked her head into a bathtub filled with water, Miami police said Sunday. He did all this for three hours late Saturday before he left the apartment. Eventually, police said Rengifo tied the woman up with cords and threw her in a closet. When he saw that she was trying to escape, he tied her to a bedpost. After he left she was able to get loose and call for help. The 38 year old victim who does not want to be identified until Rengifo is caught was taken to the hospital for injuries, which included severe bruises and a broken nose, said William Moreno a Miami police spokesman. Police are still searching for Rengifo. Below is a little of what Moreno said:

”The torture that he showed to this lady is not human, and we do need to bring this individual to justice,” Moreno said. “Right now we don’t know what his next step would be, but we do consider him extremely dangerous.”Here’s what happened, according to police:

The beating began at around 9 p.m. Saturday, after she got to the apartment in the 400 block of Northwest Fourth Street.

Rengifo, who had been drinking, confronted her about being unfaithful to him.

She said she had not been, but he began hitting her despite the denials.

”She was punched and kicked multiple times in the face,” Moreno said.

He choked her twice, at one point she lost consciousness.

”He continues to threaten that he will kill her with a knife,” Moreno said. “He says he has techniques from the military in Peru, he can make terrorists talk. He dunks her head into the bathtub several times.”

Using several cords from cell phone chargers, he tied her and bound her hands with a belt, putting her in a closet.

When he realized she was trying to escape, he removed her from the closet and tied her to a bedpost.

After midnight, Rengifo left the apartment, telling her he would return.

She was able to free herself and get help.

She will be placed in protective custody, police said.

I really hope she is ok and they catch this guy. This is really sad and should have been handled a different way. I hope she is planning on staying a way from him. Because, I do not want to see another article saying the charges were dropped and they are back together. Being drunk is no excuse because he will get drunk again and next time she might not be so lucky. So, hopefully once he is locked up she can put this pass her and move on with her life.  What’s your opinion?

Five years ago Rebecca Mae Haliday was put in jail along with former boyfriend Daniel Green for the 2001 hog-tying death of her 18-month old daughter Bianca. I know you are wondering what is hog-tying. From my information the daughter was tied up with rolled bed sheets so she could not move every night for weeks. It was to teach her “bed time was bedtime” said the pair. Both were sentenced to six year for manslaughter. Rebecca did not take part in the hog-tying process but consented to it. She told police that in the final weeks she believed the restraints were strengthened, as Green “hogtied” together Beanca’s separately bound hands and feet. Bianca eventually died from a combination of pneumonia and asphyxia.At the time Rebecca had a two year old son who did not go through this treatment. He is now living with his paternal grandmother Jenny Newman.

After her parole expired Rebecca now 27 is pregnant again. She is fearfull of what could happen. She is begging the public to leave her in peace during her fresh shot at motherhood and says she is willing to abide by any conditions imposed by government authorities so she can keep her baby. Newman is “incredibly worried” for the baby. “My message to the authorities is protect this child,” she said

If they do not take this child away at least keep a very close eye on this woman. I do believe in second chances but I really do not trust this woman. I do not care that she did commit the act but she is more guilty because she allowed this to happen to her child. So, she gets no sympathy from me because she has already proved she does not have common sense. I feel like Nancy Grace getting those emotions when hearing stories like this and reacting. Unlike her I am going to leave it right there.

European Vogue Model Ruslana Korshunova died around 2:30 pm Saturday after fall from her apartment building. It is being called a “apparent suicide” but is under investigation. “Originally from the former Soviet republic of Kazakhstan, the almond-eyed, flowing-haired Korshunova appeared in advertisements and on runways for such designers as Marc Jacobs, Nina Ricci and DKNY. British Vogue hailed her as “a face to be excited about” in 2005″ , says foxnews.

She died to young and at the height of her career. Personally I do not think it was sucide. But, I am not the investigator so I will wait to see what happens. What do you think?

An unidentified 17 year old teen was decapitated by a Six Flags Roller Coaster. Apparently he lost his hat on the ride and decided to retrieve it. He jumped fences to a restricted area when the roller coaster struck him . The ride moves at 50mph. The area has signs to say it is dangerous and off-limits to visitors. According to yahoo news, in June 2007, a teenager’s legs were severed when cables snapped on the Superman Tower of Power ride at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville, Ky. Doctors were able to reattach Kaitlyn Lasitter’s right foot, but she had to have some of her left leg amputated and subsequent surgeries. Her family is suing six flags Kentucky Kingdom  “claiming the park failed to maintain the ride and the equipment and ensure riders’ safety. The amusement park has denied liability in court filings.

In the Kentucky case I can see the family suing because it was the park fault. The young lady was riding the ride just like everyone else and they should have made sure everything was together. I know sometimes problems can not be helped but the park has to take responsibility and do the right thing. In the Georgia case I hope the family want try to sue for wrongful death or something like that since it was the boy’s fault. They had signs what more could the park have done put a audio box. But, it is sad when your child dies before you and at such a young age. He probably just graduated or in his senior year. He had his whole life to live. I know that feeling when you lose something and want it back you do not think anything can happen.

Married couple Varsha Sabhnani(46) and Mahender Sabhnani(51) were convicted in December on a 12 count  federal indictment that included forced labor, conspiracy, involuntary servitude and harboring aliens. Two Indonesian housekeepers were held as virtual slaves in their Long Island mansion. Mrs. Sabhnani was sentenced Thursday to 11 years in prison. Mr. Sabhani will get sentenced Friday. He is expected to get a lesser sentence since he allowed the conduct to take place and benefit from the work the women performed. “The victims testified that they were beaten with brooms and umbrellas, slashed with knives, and forced to climb stairs and take freezing showers as punishment. One victim was forced to eat dozens of chili peppers against her will, and then was forced to eat her own vomit when she couldn’t keep the peppers down,” prosecutors said. One housekeeper was there since 2002 and the other since 2005. It stopped when one of them fled on Mothers Day 2007 to Dunkin Donuts wearing nothing but rags and employees called police. They never received cash only their family received 100 dollars a month for their services.They said they were tortured and beaten for misdeeds that included sleeping late or stealing food from trash bins because they were poorly fed. Both women also said they were forced to sleep on mats in the kitchen. The defense claims that the women are lying and they practiced witchcraft. They abused themselves for some kind of self-mutilation ritual. I know the defense will come up with anything. Defense attorney Jeffrey Hoffman said 175 letters were submitted to the court detailing Sabhnani’s charitable acts around the world. He called her “a woman who spent a lifetime doing good deeds.” Is he trying to say just because she is into charity’s she is not capable of things. He must not know charities and giving money is a tax write off. He also claimed Mrs. Sabhnani’s weight went from 325 to 135 around 2004 or 2005.”She did it by starving herself,” and that resulted in a chemical imbalance and significant malnourishment. “She had become a very different person.” As I have already said defense attorney’s will say anything. Is he positive she just did not have gastric bypass surgery or any other weight loss surgery especially with all that money. What is your Opinion?

In Baytown, Texas a 14 year old girl was charged with capital murder for choking and flushing baby in the toilet. The teen gave birth on April 2 in the bathroom of Cedar Bayou Junior High. Another student heard her giving birth and went to the nurse for help. The nurse and assistant principal ran to the bathroom but it was to late so they called 911. “An autopsy confirmed the baby was alive and cried before his mother tried to flush him” ,said police Lt. Eric Freed. Her attorney says she did not realize she was giving birth since she was only 35-36 weeks pregnant. Her classmates said they did not know she was pregnant because she wore baggy clothes.All this happened just three days after another 14-year-old girl delivered a stillborn fetus in the bathroom of an airplane on her way back to Houston from a middle-school field trip.

My question is how the parents did not know. Maybe her parents were not always around or they were not really close. But, I think you should know what your 14 year old daughter was doing. My mother always kept tabs on me and was always in my face. If she did not other family members were there to take over. There was this girl in my eight grade class that was big so know one knew she was pregnant. I do not know if her parents knew but we found out when she went into a coma. Did she have any close friends? Because, my close friends know me better than I know myself. I do not know maybe it is just my friends and I that know about each other. Where is the baby’s daddy? Since she did not think she was going to go into labor that soon what was she going to to do if it happened another time? Was she still going to kill the baby? All this could have been avoided if she just told someone.

The Principal says there was a pact but the mayor says no to a pact. One of the pregnant teens 17 year old Lindsey Oliver who is five months pregnant and her 20 year old baby’s daddy talked about it on Good Morning America. “There definitely was no pact”, Oliver stated.  She called the pregnancies a “coincidence”.  “There was a group of girls who decided that they were gonna - they were already pregnant before they decided this - that they were going to help each other with their kids so they could finish school . . . to do the right thing was their decision not let’s get pregnant as a group,” she said.

Apparently, she was on the pill to keep from getting pregnant but it happened. I guess they were not using condoms as protection. They had that much trust in each other to risk HIV and other diseases. I do not know what is going on. The principal should have waited until he got all the facts before running his mouth. Now he says he has a “foggy memory of where he got the source”. Is he serious? Isn’t he suppose to be the Principal and have a little common sense and just wait a minute. But, Time Magazine is sticking by their story. So, is it a cover up or the facts just wrong. The only people that knows are the girls and I doubt they would tell the truth to strangers. Finally, someone did not blame Juno or Jamie Lynn Spears. What’s your Opinion?

For all the fans of Army Wives I will start talk about because I am also a big fan. I know I am a little late but I am here now. The show is incredible. I was hooked on the first episode. For the people that do not watch the show I will tell you about it and hope you will tune in to watch.

Lets first meet the wives:

Claudia Joy Holden (Kim Delaney) - She is like the mother hen of the bunch. If you need her she will hurry your way. She has a very high status on post. She is married to recently appointed Post Commander Brigadier General Michael Holden. They have two daughters, Amanda and Emmalin. She is best friends with Denise

Denise Sherwood (Catherine Bell) - She is the very shy one of the group. She gave up her nursing studies for married life. She does what her husband tells her. Her husband is, Major Frank Sherwood. She has on son Jeremy. She is best friends with Claudio Joy.

Pamela Moran (Brigid Brannagh) - She is kind of outspoken and tough. She is also an ex-cop. So, she has a little of that cop mentality in her. She is married to Delta Force Operator Chase Moran. They have two small children a boy and a girl.

Roxy LeBlanc ( Sally Pressman) - She is the most outspoken of the group. She is always speaking her mind. When the show first starts she is the new person. She married her husband Army Private First Class Trevor LeBlanc after knowing him a few days. But, they make the perfect couple. She has two small sons from previous relationships.

Lieutenant Colonel Joan and Psychiatrist Roland Burton ( Wendy Davis, Sterling K. Brown) - These two are different because Roland is the army husband. You will see him hanging out with the army wives more. Joan is the first African American woman in her position. Plus she is commanding more than 400 men. So, she is a lady in charge. They have no children.
