Did You Watch the VP Debate??

Published by misstasha under politics Edit This

Apparently, more people watched the VP debate than the Presidential debate. Everyone probably wanted to see how Palin did after her past interviews. Unfortunately, I missed the debate but have been hearing a lot about it.  People think Biden won but Palin did not exactly loose. She held her ground with Biden. He was just to good. But, she came out more likeable.  Everyone I know was expecting Biden to wipe the floor with her. The way I hear it that did not happen. But, I can not really say since I did not watch. So everyone is welcome to comment on their POV.

Making my own decisions

Published by misstasha under politics Edit This

The Presidential election has been on everyone’s mind. Everywhere you go people are talking about who they want to win. The big question is, Who will Hillary Clinton supporters choose? I have been a big Clinton supporter since she announced she was running. My friends were always criticizing me because they are big Barack  Obama supporters. All I ever hear is think about the struggle or look at what our ancestors went through. I know all this happened but people like Martin Luther King Jr. and Medgar Evers fought and died for me to have the right to vote for any candidate I choose. Does it really matter who I vote for? People should be more worried about people voting, not their preference.

Everyone is saying Hillary supporters are bitter and need to move on. I personally don’t think I’m bitter. I think I’m more frustrated. I think the Democrats handled it wrong. They did not let the people decide. Instead they tried to dictate the democratic process. After seeing how the Democratic and Republican parties handle their business I am no longer categorizing myself with a party. At first I was so mad I said I will vote for John McCain but then time started passing and I have calmed down. Personally I don’t like either as a person from what I see but I am bias Smile. So, I am going into this election with a fresh start. I am going to look at both candidates, what they plan to do, how it will benefit me and make my decision. I am no longer going to worry about what people are saying it is none of their business. Race and Age will not even be thought of in my decision. So what is your opinion?
